"Rootbeer" Float, Healthy duh
Rootbeer dilemma! As I searched for the perfect ingredients to make this summer drink, boy did I come across some HORRIBLE nutritional labels, and I was at Whole Foods, don't get me wrong!
These 2 choices above are the best ones I could find after really searching the health food stores. One is sweetened with stevia and the kombucha one has lots of other health benefits like probiotics!
This recipe is dairy free, gluten free, and as close as you can be to sugar free when having a rootbeer float :)
Ingredients
8 ounces root beer of choice (check the label, most are packed with sugar)
2 scoops New Barn Vanilla ice cream
In a large, preferably cold glass, pour soda and top with ice cream. If using superfoods, mix them into the liquid, then add ice cream.
Tories SUPERFOOD additions- I love making things as healthy as possible, especially when you don’t sacrifice taste. Try one of these below!
- ¼ tsp Chaga Roots & Bones mushroom powder (use TVW for 15% off)
- 1 tsp maca powder
- 1 scoop collagen powder
TIP: try using soda water with stevia root beer drops, yes they have that flavor!
